Attending the Fall Meeting is like entering a bee hive and it can be a little overwhelming. Although I did enjoy the chance to attend before the meeting moves from SF for a couple years. Saw some excellent talks in both the Nearshore, Atmospheric, and Polar sessions, which always make feel like I have to work harder when I get back home.
Also, got to enjoy some tangential sessions on the NASA Asteroid defense program, how to search for life on other planets, and human population growth and environmental impacts. There is a lot more out there than just wind, waves, and ADCP's.
My first poster visitor of the Nearshore Poster Session.
